8 Days Later
[Follow up to Lazy Sunday]
This was taken just eight days after I first saw the baby birds snuggled tight in their just about perfect nest. It’s amazing how different they look, how much nature can accomplish in a week.
It’s also amazing how protective Mum and Dad are of their little ones here. Odds are if I even think about trying to take another photo I’ll be the victim of the first fatal robin attack. They’re small, but they’re scrappy.
(No birds were harmed in the making of this photo. An ant, however, might have met an untimely death.)
